Fundraising - It's never too early to start!

Relay may be months away, but it's never too early to start fundraising for your event.  Here are some ideas to get you thinking about fundraising at work:

Office Auction Hotline

Set up a special voice mailbox at work with weekly messages announcing auction items.  Outline the items, including their face value, in a flyer.

Jeans on Monday
fr ideas - jeans at work
By now, many companies already have a "casual Friday," so why not have people pay to wear jeans on Monday?  Nothing beats waking up on Monday morning and not having to worry about what to wear to work after a long weekend.

Cupcake Bar

Have a few people in your office bake cupcakes, and have others donate icing, sprinkles, candies and other toppings.

Car Window Washing

This can work at any business that has a drive-up (bank, fast-food, pharmacy).  Set up with squeeges, buckets, access to water, and window-washing fluid.
Waiting Room

fr ideas - doctor office waiting room
A group medical practice in Hilo, Hawaii solicits their patients and families (they have the waiting room and exam rooms all Relay-decorated, so conversations are easy).
As always, if you have an event planned, let us know.  We'll get the word out on the website and on the Facebook Page.
